Ashfield Allotment Association - Brookside Avenue - Liverpool 14 - Annual General Meeting Sunday 5th October at 11.00am

About our allotments

Ashfield Allotments are situated in Knotty Ash in Liverpool. The allotments were originally created by Liverpool City Council in 1921. We have 78 plots on the site and currenty have 70 let out. The other 8 cannot be let out at the moment due to drainage problems.

Over the past couple of years a lot of work has been carried out on the allotments to regenerate the site and encourage more people to take up allotments. We have received over £22,000 in Grants to help improve the allotment site.

In 2007 all of the fencing work was completed by Liverpool City Council making the site a lot more secure.

We have an active Committee on the allotments that meets monthly the Committee and Officers are elected yearly at the Annual General Meeting. The Current Committee Members are

John Byrne, Chairman
