Apologies – There were no apologies

Minutes of Last Meeting – The minutes were agreed as a true record

Matters Arising – There were no matters arising

Secretary’s Report –DB reported that 69 rents had been paid so £1448 was received in rent to be sent to the council, £548 in Water rates and £136 for the NSALG fee. We have 2 vacant plots and no waiting list. Ken Savage emailed DB to ask for some time to come and empty his shed. DB had thanked Ken Savage in his letter for the work he’d done for the association. The Polytunnel has now been completed. A vote of thanks was given to George for all the work he’d done with the polytunnel. The next step in the communal allotment project is for the pathways and car park area to be completed. It’s now looking unlikely that groups will be using the plot this year. We had an article in Berrybridge’s newsletter about how well the site is doing. We got a skip to clear rubbish from around E. Bartons plot. It was felt that in general the condition of the site was looking really good.

Treasurers Report –

Flower Show – We had a meeting in April and we felt it was a good idea to buy a marquee/ gazebo from B&Q for £90. This was agreed. We have been looking into the prices of shields and trophies. The shield will cost about £20 and the trophies about £5 (we’ll need 3) this is without the price for engraving. A schedule has been produced and copies are available in the office. We will display pictures in the office of how to present your produce for a show.

There was no other business to be discussed. The meeting closed at 12.20pm
